Hi.
The other day, I got an email. Asking for parents to be Head, Soccer Coaches for youth soccer. And for some reason, I decided to say yes.
I’m not exactly sure why at the time probably because, you know, I thought I would be Fun, and exciting and different. And the way to spend time with my daughter.
I asked, general questions, you, and made the commitment.
Now soccer practice hasn’t started, but I’m sitting here thinking to myself. What the hell did I get myself into?
I’m not a soccer coach. I know basic soccer, kick the ball and into the goal, that’s about it. I am definitely a little nervous about how things are going to go.
However, in life, sometimes you have to take a leap of faith and go out there and try something new.
And while, of course, I haven’t coached soccer before I have worked with kids. I used to be a camp counselor, lifeguard, and a water safety instructor for many years. So, I know how to teach kids and design lesson plans or game plans in this case.
Sometimes, you have to look back and recall the stuff that you have learned and use that knowledge
I am watching more soccer video ideas and how to make practice fun exciting and finding ways to build D a team.
That’s something I wanted to share with you all today. I hope you got something out of it
