How to calm nerves before a performance?

It’s showtime. Later, today we will be performing Beach Boys Megillah. My daughter said she was nervous, so I’m I a little too. Here are some tips to get over those jitters. We look to perform an amazing show later.

1. Prepare: Practicing your lines and blocking will help you feel more confident and less anxious.

2. Take deep breaths: Taking deep, calming breaths can help reduce any tension and help you relax before going on stage.

3. Visualize: Visualize yourself performing the play and going through each scene in your head. This can help you feel more prepared and confident.

4. Stay positive: Try to stay positive and focus on the positive aspects of the performance.

5. Connect with your castmates: Having a strong connection with your castmates can help you feel more relaxed and confident.

6. Have a plan B: Have a plan in case something goes wrong. This can help you feel more prepared and in control.

7. Get into character: Getting into character can help you feel more connected to the role and help you focus on the performance.

8. Get some rest: Make sure you get enough rest the night before the performance. This will help you feel more energized and alert during the performance.

9. Listen to music: Listening to calming music can help you relax and take your mind off of being nervous.

10. Focus on the audience: Remember that the audience is there to watch you perform, so focus on them and try to enjoy yourself.
