3+1 ways to stop worry

Good morning

We all have a tendency to worry about something in our lives one time or another.   Now, some of us definitely worry less than others.  However, I do believe that everyone has everyone has worried about something in their life at one time or another.

Now is it good to worry.  I don’t believe so when I’m worried I get more anxious nervousAnd become inactive.

So, how do you worry less?  Well, it’s not easy, but I believe you can do it.   I have 3 ideas on how to help you worry less.

The 1st is what I’m worried; I usually don’t take action. I’m nervous about what will happen, and I let fear prevent prevent me from moving forward. Therefore, the 1st thing 1st thing one should do is to take action. Do something that moves you towards your goal that you want to achieve.  When you take action, your mind is focused on the task at hand and not what could happen.

The second way is to remember that you’ve been in similar situations like this before.  We all have had unfortunate times in our lives.  However, we usually have survived them.  Also, bad times don’t last unless you let them.

The third is to be grateful.  Gratitude is a powerful thing.  You might think you have nothing to be grateful for; however, that is not true.  Be grateful for your alive, be grateful you can read this, and be grateful for what ever you choose.  It can be something small, like a smell from a bakery.

Now I know early I said 3 ways to stop worry.  But I have a bonus one.  That is to breathe.  I’ve come to realize that breathing is very important. I am not talking about regular breathing; I am referring to breathing in a specific manner.  That is usually taking a nice breath in for 4 seconds, holding it for 5 and letting it out for 6.

I hope these simple tips help you out when you start to worry.
