Hi
So today the U.S Supreme Court overturned Roe vs Wade. This decision was unfortunate news to many. While this was happening the U.S Senate passed new gun regulations that will soon be signed by President Biden. This is good news for many people.
The reason I mentioned both these stories, is to share the fact that good and bad things can happen at the same time. For me, I try to see the good in the world. I know it definitely can be hard at times. When bad events occur I acknowledge them, however, I don’t dwell on them, most of the time. I do hope for the best, and see how I can make the best out of a bad situation.
Remember that neither good times nor bad times last forever. I just believe that when I am grateful that the length of the good times outlasts the time of the bad times.
Today I am thankful for my parent’s pool.
