One of the hardest things for me to do is to keep that voice inside my head telling me you can not do it or do not try that, and you’ll fail, you’ll be stuck here forever, you’ll get turned down, so don’t even try, to stay down and BE QUIET. That little voice can become so powerful if you let it. It can stop you from your dreams; however, how do you keep it down and make it stay down. I’ll call that voice “the downer voice.”
This is one way, I believe, to keep that “downer voice” down and quiet is to take action. When you take action, you begin to see that the voice inside was wrong. Even though not everyone didn’t agree or like your piece, you still did it, and nothing awful or wrong happened. By taking action, you put that voice down begin to realize you can do it.
Another thing is to change the voice from a “downer voice” to an “enthusiastic voice.” Tell the voice that you are doing this. That you have done it before, and you can do it again. Remember that other people have probably done what you did, and so can you. As Tony Robbins says, “Where focus goes, energy flows” One needs to change one focus inside there head. Focus on the fact that whatever you are doing could help others. Focus on a positive future, a grateful life.
