Staying committed

This weekend, my bother in law and sister in law renew their wedding vows. They have been married for 25 years. That is what inspired today’s post, how to stay committed. Being committed to something is hard, tiresome, and yet worth it. Yes, its easy to start something, but to keep it going for a long time that takes dedication. In other words, being loyal can be very hard to do.

The following is how I believe helps me stay committed and loyal to a cause, an idea, a job, or a person. The first thing that comes to mind is to remember why you are doing what you are doing. Another way of putting it is what the reason for doing this is? I do my podcast because I enjoy helping others, I do this blog to express myself. I am committed to my wife and marriage because I love her, making me a better person.

I also stay committed because I remember where I was, and am grateful for what I have received. It is a warm home, a lovely daughter, a compassionate, loving spouse, and an ability to help others.

So that’s what I have to say about being dedicated to something. I know its short. However, I hopefully got my point across. Thank you for reading.

Hi, I am in my early '40s with a wife and a young daughter. I am doing this so I can share my ideas, thoughts, and creativity with the world. I also wanted to find new ways to express myself. I hope you enjoy it.
