A wild mind.

Your mind is one of the most powerful tools you have. It’s the one thing you have constant control of if you want, or you can let it go wild. As I write this, I worry about a mistake I might have made at work. Might have. I play out these scenarios and I do not like how it makes me feel. How do I stop my mind from going wild?

1st realize that what I am thinking about had yet to occur. Next realize that if I did make a mistake, it doesn’t change the person I am. Every makes mistakes and to think of it as a learning experience. Recognize that what I am thinking about will unlikely come true.

The other thing is to take time to pause my thoughts and clear my mind. Take some deep breaths in and out, think, and say positive things. This also help me to regain perspective and calm my mind.

I know this help me control a wild mind, and maybe it will for you too.

Hi, I am in my early '40s with a wife and a young daughter. I am doing this so I can share my ideas, thoughts, and creativity with the world. I also wanted to find new ways to express myself. I hope you enjoy it.
