1st Day of Remote Learning

Today my daughter started 3rd grade and her 1st official day of remote learning. She has her desk set up, a computer on, and she is ready to learn. As a parent, I am excited, nervous, and a little bit upset. I am upset that she can’t go to school physically; however, I know her health, my wife’s health, and my health are more important. As a family, I am nervous about how we will deal with the pressures of remote learning.

I must say I am most excited about all the cool and exciting things my daughter will learn this year. I am excited that I can see how my daughter participates with her teacher and classmates. It is cool to see how mature she is sitting at the desk, doing her work.

I feel the best way our family will get threw this year is with a positive attitude and to remember to be grateful for what we have. Good luck to all students this year, remote hybrid, or in class.

Hi, I am in my early '40s with a wife and a young daughter. I am doing this so I can share my ideas, thoughts, and creativity with the world. I also wanted to find new ways to express myself. I hope you enjoy it.
