Birthday in the time of Covid

Today we celebrate my daughter birthday. It was different this year, we didn’t have all the family over, we didn’t sit close and give hugs and kisses. We invited just the grandparents, we sat apart, ( we did let her hug her grandparents 1st time since March). However we made it the best party we could.

We had games for her to play. She received gifts she wanted. She made slime, and others created other messes.

That is the lesson I come up with today, is sometimes you have to make the best of the situation. We would have love to have all her aunt and uncles over, but unfortunately, we couldn’t. Life is like that sometimes; you have to make the best of what’s around. She was so happy and grateful that she was surrounded by the people that love her.

Hi, I am in my early '40s with a wife and a young daughter. I am doing this so I can share my ideas, thoughts, and creativity with the world. I also wanted to find new ways to express myself. I hope you enjoy it.
