Hi, so its September 1st, a new month, a fresh start, a new beginning. One of the things I want to work on is to be more consistent. I will start something do it for a few days, and then life happens, and I’ll stop doing it and then a few weeks later, come back to it. So this month of September is about developing a routine and sticking to it.
I ask my therapist about how I can get into a better routine. She suggested one set the alarm on your phone daily to remind you to do that routine. The other suggestion was to print up a calendar and write down what you want to do each day. I decide to print up the calendar and write it down. The four things I want to do each day is 1: Journal or blog, 2. Record my Podcast 3. Go on a bike ride 4. Work on creating something- (Instagram post, a shirt, and idea). Once I do what I wanted to do, I cross it off. Also, she recommends a place calendar where you will see it daily.
