Still good out there

It’s awful, what happened in Minneapolis, Minnesota about a week ago to George Floyd. It’s unfortunate that there as been so much violence recently. With all the news and social media, you might think that’s all that is out there. Still, I believe there is actually more good than bad out there. We live in a country with over 328 million people. Most of us just want to live our lives in peace.

Here is some good stuff I read about, there was a police officer who joined a protest March in Flint Michigan. Some businesses are starting to reopen. Near where I live volunteers got up early to clean up where looting and violence occurred the night before. If you are reading this it means you can see and are alive. People over 100 are surviving COVID 19. You just have to find the positive and share it. When you see something positive share it.

If you do see something that is not right speak up. I believe the best way to combat the feeling of anger people have is with kindness. The best way for me to resist the feeling I have of worried and being scared it to remember what I am grateful for.

Hi, I am in my early '40s with a wife and a young daughter. I am doing this so I can share my ideas, thoughts, and creativity with the world. I also wanted to find new ways to express myself. I hope you enjoy it.
